from the Chairman
Hello,
As
the Dinner Chairman for the Sacramento Wild Game Feed, I would like to take the
time to thank all of our past sponsors, donors and attendees of dinners past! Without your
support each year, we would not be able to put on such a great evening and
raise so much money for the ducks! This year the dinner committee will be hosting our
very special 24th Anniversary dinner on September 8, 2011 at the Scottish Rite
Temple in Sacramento. There will only be 400 tickets available for this year’s
dinner and NO tickets will be sold at the door! In addition we are holding a
special Glock raffle in which a limited number of 125 tickets will be sold for
this drawing. The lucky winner of the raffle will be able to choose any make
of Glock that they want! Tickets are
available for sale at a cost of $20 each and the winner need not be present to
win!
The
committee is working diligently at making this dinner one to remember and talk
about for years to come. We will be serving a variety of wild game prepared by
Greg Cornell of Silver Sage Catering, as well as the “Pig Picking” table courtesy of Manny & Al Sol of the Orangevale Meat Shoppe. In house bar service will be
provided by Sierra Nevada Brewing Company, Young’s Market, Markstein Beverage
Company, all while being served by our great bartenders Rob, Cori & Sheila.
If you plan on hosting a party in the near future and are in need of bar
service, please feel free to contact Cori at 916.768.5455. She has a complete
line of servers that can help you at you next party.
This
year we will have a silent auction, live auction, general
raffle and a very special evening for
all the youth hunters in attendance, along with all the fun and exciting
specialty games the committee will introduce this year! The Life membership
table will be back for all of you that are Life members and there will be
another great drawing prize for those who make a payment.
Without
the continued support of our dinner guest, Sponsors and Donors, we would not be
able to make this dinner such a huge success each year. I ask that you visit
our Donor & Sponsor page on this website and see if they have products,
goods or services that you might need. I ask that you patronage there business
for taking the time to support California Waterfowl and there grass roots
efforts to help conserve, educate and preserve our hunting heritage for
generations to come. We also offer several different levels of Sponsor
Packages from as low as $250 for a Gun Sponsorship to $5000 as the Dinner
Underwriter to the dinner banquet.
This
will be the 24th Annual Dinner and I ask that you help make this dinner another
huge success. Remember, CWA is a non-profit organization and donations and
contributions may be tax deductible! Please consult your tax adviser
